List of accessible services for Persons with Disabilities and People with Reduced Mobility (PRM):

Measures to ensure accessibility are implemented at the Monument, including the provision of discounted admission, the organization of escorting by designated staff, the use of specialized lifting equipment, and the presence of infrastructure elements ensuring barrier-free movement within the facility.

Procedure for providing services to Persons with Disabilities and PRM:

Escorting of PRM is provided at all stages of the visit:

  • The escort is carried out by a designated staff member from the moment a signal/call is received.

  • The staff member meets the visitor at the entrance, clarifies their needs and the movement route.

  • Assistance is provided at the entrance, including the use of lifting devices and elevators. Safe movement throughout the facility is ensured, including ascending to the upper level using a tracked stair lift (if necessary).

  • The staff member escorts the visitor at all stages of the tour, providing assistance with boarding/alighting and orienting within the facility if necessary. Upon completion of the visit, the staff member ensures the visitor is escorted to the exit or their vehicle.

  • Priority service for persons with disabilities is provided at the Customer Service point. Visitors are provided with informational and advisory support by the staff.

  • Free passage along the main routes and the absence of temporary obstacles in visiting areas are strictly monitored. Individual escorting of visitors by facility staff is organized upon request if necessary.

  • The facility staff provides full and detailed information to persons with disabilities and people with reduced mobility on all issues related to visiting the facility, including movement procedures, available services, and conditions of stay.

Procedure for providing situational assistance for each category of persons with disabilities, specifying the guaranteed response time:

Persons with Group I disabilities

– Meeting at the entrance, pressing the call button;


– Escorting during facility visits and receiving services.

Immediately upon arrival.

Cost of services (when provided on a paid basis) for Persons with Disabilities and PRM and payment terms:

  • Persons with Group I and II disabilities, children with disabilities, and 1 (one) accompanying person for persons with Group I and II disabilities – free admission.

  • Persons with Group III disabilities are granted a 50% discount on the entrance ticket price upon presentation of supporting documents.

Service quality parameters:

  • The Monument employs two on-duty staff members who assist people with disabilities during their visit.

  • Specialists from the excursion department and security service are also involved in escorting and assisting people with disabilities.

  • For the convenience of wheelchair users, a lifting platform has been installed on the Kunayev Street side to provide access to the facility.

  • To lift people with reduced mobility to the top of the Monument (into the Sphere), a tracked stair lift is installed, which regularly undergoes maintenance and is always in working order.

  • There are two elevators ensuring the transportation of people, including people with disabilities.

  • A restroom fully complying with all requirements for people with disabilities is located on the ground floor of the Monument.

  • Service time: From the moment of the call/request until the escort to the exit or vehicle.

Comfort conditions provided by the organization when serving Persons with Disabilities and PRM:

  • The main entrance from Dostyk Street is accessible for PRM with hearing, visual, musculoskeletal, and mental impairments when escorted by trained personnel. The Kunayev Street entrance provides access for wheelchair users, as a horizontal electric wheelchair lift is located on that side.

  • The recreation area is located on the ground floor near the main entrance. Accessible for PRM.

  • The width of the doors at the entrance to the main hall is 100 cm. Accessible when escorted by trained personnel.

  • The ticket office is located at the entrance to the main hall. The height of the ticket counter is 117 cm.

  • The cloakroom is located to the left of the entrance to the main hall. The cloakroom door width is 73 cm, height is 85 cm. Accessible for PRM.

  • Tourist Information Center available.

  • Souvenir products are located on the ground floor. The counter height is 95 cm. Accessible for PRM.

  • The elevator on the ground floor is located at an elevation. Width – 100 cm. Depth – 235 cm.

  • The length of the ramp to the elevators on the ground floor is 2 m. The ramp slope is 18.3%, accessible for PRM when escorted by trained personnel.

  • The coffee shop is located in the Panoramic area on the second level. The counter height is 95 cm. Accessible for PRM.

  • Access to the upper level of the facility is provided by stairs from the Panoramic Hall. There is no elevator to the upper level. To provide access to the upper level for PRM in wheelchairs, a tracked stair lift is used. The “Sphere” zone is barrier-free for PRM. Accessible for PRM when escorted by trained personnel.

  • The stand area of the “Ayaly-Alakan” composition is accessible for PRM when escorted by trained personnel.

Services available for Persons with Disabilities and PRM:

  • When using the tracked stair lift, it is possible to attach the visitor’s own wheelchair.

  • Restroom for persons with disabilities. Measurements: Width of the restroom doorway is 94 cm. The doorway space refers to the practical clear width of the door, i.e., the width allowing a wheelchair to pass through. The distance from the toilet to the sink is 150 cm. The restroom is located on the ground floor. The emergency call button is conveniently placed. The floor length in front of the toilet (from the front of the toilet to the nearest obstacle) is 130 cm. The height of the toilet seat from the floor is 50 cm. The width and height allow passage for a person with a disability in a wheelchair.
