The top of the Palace of Peace and Harmony is occupied by the hall “Besik” (Cradle) designed for 100 seats. The hall is used for holding seminars, meetings and conferences. The main decoration of the hall is a huge stained-glass window, created by artist Brian Clark, which offers a panoramic view of the young capital. It depicts 130 pigeons, which have become the symbols of 130 nationalities living on the territory of Kazakhstan.
