FEDERATION OF MODERN AND SPORTS DANCE

Federation of Modern and Sports Dance of the Republic of Kazakhstan was founded in 2009, in order to develop dance sport and modern dance in the Republic of Kazakhstan. It is accredited by the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The largest, in the field of sports and contemporary choreography, the structure develops many kinds of different dance styles and directions.

Among them:

·      Dance Sport – Sports Dance, Acrobatic Rock and Roll, Modern and Variety Dance, Sports and Dance Choreography.

·      Paralympic sport – Wheelchair Dance Sports.

Team Goal:

·      Development and promotion of a healthy lifestyle and involvement in sports and creativity;

·      Development and promotion of wheelchair dance sport, as a sport in the Republic of Kazakhstan;

·      Organization and conduct of sports and cultural activities;

·      Meeting cultural and educational needs and training of coaches and judges in accordance with international and national rules for all types of dances;

·      Propaganda among the population of the dance sport in order to increase its mass appeal;

·      Training of athletes – members of the national teams of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
