Teaching is held in several stages. At the initial stage of training, students learn the basics of chess, get acquainted with:

·      The history of the appearance of the game;

·      Chessboard and the placement of pieces;

·      The basic rules of chess;

·      Terminology (check, checkmate, stalemate, draw, openings, maneuver, tour, move, and endgame);

·      Typical checkmate positions.

Then we study various chess situations (check, checkmate, how to put them, how to defend against them), classical compositions of famous masters, interesting cases of draw, the most common moves. Athletes learn the book tactical techniques, the rules of playing openings, etude, endgame, the basic rules of tournaments, international competitions. After mastering the theoretical knowledge, novice chess players move on to game practice. Students solve small chess problems for one or more moves, try to keep a chess record, perform various tasks of trainers, and play small games. At the end of the primary course athletes are already able to play a chess game on their own by all the rules, from start to finish.

Training at the Academy – it is possible to choose a convenient form and time of classes. Chess teaching can take place in groups or individually.

The group classes follow a certain pattern. The standard start is a check of homework, the theoretical material that was announced by the trainer in the previous lesson. Then a new topic is explained, which is consolidated by game practice. To allow each student of the Chess Academy to fully realize himself as an athlete, all chess players are tested before starting classes. Depending on the results shown, students are placed into groups:

·      Beginners (for children from the age of 4, beginning chess players who are getting acquainted with chess pieces, learning the basics of the game, getting the first experience of tournament practice);

·      Continuing (for those chess players who have already learned the basics of the game, are ready to play all the chess pieces, master more complex tactical techniques and schemes);

·      Professional (for chess players at the highest level who take part in international tournaments, are ready to grow and improve their skills, and are able not only to follow the game schemes worked out, but also to build a strategy for the match themselves).

The main task of the Olympic Reserve School is to train high-class athletes who are able to become candidates for the sports teams of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The Rhythmic Gymnastics Center was opened in the Palace of Independence at the “#1 Specialized Sports School of the Olympic Reserve for Children and Youth” of the Astana City Akimat.

To achieve success in rhythmic gymnastics, the classes should begin at a very early age – at 3-5 years. “KINOKIO” was aired on TURAN TV, JASTAR 1, and many other TV channels in Kazakhstan. In addition, new social programs and a cooking show are in development. Children's film studio “KINOKIO” is working with such countries as Georgia, Russia, Latvia, China and Italy.
