ON 27 AUGUST 2022, THE COMPLIANCE OFFICER GAVE A REPORT TO THE EMPLOYEES OF ASTANA VENUE MANAGEMENT LLP ON THE IMPORTANCE OF THE CONSTITUTION FOR SOCIETY AND THE UPCOMING CELEBRATION OF CONSTITUTION DAY

In particular, the Constitution is the fundamental document for building a democratic, secular, legal and social state whose highest values are the individual, their life, rights and freedoms.

The role of the Constitution grows in the current period of reforms and changes in society, and it provides the basis for the entire legal system.

On 5 June 2022, on the initiative of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Kemelevich Tokayev, a national referendum was held on adopting amendments to the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The purpose of the amendments is the transition to a “new state model, a new format of interaction between the state and society”.

Amendments were made to 33 articles of the Constitution.

The constitutional amendments marked the transition from a super-presidential form of government to a presidential republic with an influential parliament and an accountable government.

The speaker noted that the task of every employee of the partnership is to do their best to help improve all aspects of work in the areas entrusted to them.

The speaker also stressed the need to prevent cases of corruption and conflicts of interest.

In addition, the main provisions of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Combating Corruption” were explained.
